  Crowded

This is a doodle I did for Illustration Friday's, something I found out about from Aravis' blog. I sketched this while waiting for my computer to scan for bugs or virus' or whatever. Nightmare!!! My computer is so slow, the pop ups are asaulting me constantly! I hate it. Anyway the assignment was for "Crowded" I think this works don't you? My kitchen is so small, "how small is it?" , well it's so small you can walk into it to get a glass of water and it looks like this when you walk out. That's how small it is. Remember those brownies we learned about in Girl Scouts? Where did they all move to?
Comments:
This is great Pamela! It reminds me of my kitchen when I'm trying to whip something together. There's never enough space!

I wanted to let you know that they've changed the schedule for Illustration Friday. They post the new topic on Fridays, and you have until Thursday to post your submission. So the topic is now "Travel." Penelope- creator of IF- never posted the changes properly so don't feel bad for being confused. A lot of people have been a week off since she changed things! *G* I left her a message suggesting she update the website to reflect the changes she's made and she said she would do it. In the meantime, I'm off to decide what to do for "Travel."

bridgesitter, I read your blog at least once a day. As a matter of fact I was here twice last night to see if your picture would load. All I could get was "picture unavailable". Even after several attempts to reload. Anyway, never fear I'm here.
Also, two weeks ago I would have told you that I never have trouble leaving comments, now it seem's thats all I have.
Now as for the drawing, I really wish that I could do something like that. I have no talent. Nice job.

well I have to say that I am relieved. I thought I scared you off Cliff. As far as talent goes, you have it, lots of it.

I want to say that my mother who thought she had no talent her whole life, (she drew stick figures) took an art class and from there became the most prolific producer of art you've ever seen. She had water colors selling like crazy, (the local hospital did what GEL's did). I have tons of her paintings, not to mention all the beautiful creations she made from dried flowers from her own garden.

She discovered something about herself she had no idea about. Watching her frantically throwing together all of her ideas was very inspirational.

Sadly my mother died about 5 years after she found her talent. She was the happiest I had ever seen her when she was creating.

ps why don't they have spell check on comments?

Very sad she died, but she left you with pieces of herself. Many who know they are dying try to do that for their children.
