I'm feeling a bit guilty right now, actually very guilty. I have been blissfully unaware of what transpired in London today. Well not blissful but unaware. When I finally made it home this afternoon I got carried away in the usual things and then came to check my email. Read a blog or two, what have you. I've been laughing at some late night humor from Leno, Letterman, O'Brien reading some "political" humor. One thing leads to another, you know how it goes, then I check out the online news. Blunt force trauma! To my psyche anyway. It boggles my mind how life keeps going on when tragedies occur like they did in London today.
Thinking back over my day,
the places I've been, the faces I've seen, the people I've talked to, I never had one clue as to what happened today. I feel like I need to apologize to someone for laughing.

Comments:
You had no idea what was happening. There's no need to feel badly for feeling happy and alive. That is what life is for. Bombings even worse than this happen every day all over the world, whether we are aware of them or not. But these acts of terror have been unable to decimate our determination to live on. So go ahead and smile. That way terrorism loses. They may kill some of us, but they can't kill our spirit.

I bet the sound of our laughter grates on their nerves like fingernails on a chalkboard. Laugh on! *G*
