  Trip down the coast
If you click on the image you can get a slightly bigger picture.

This is a beach in Waldport Oregon, I'd never been there before.

These are artists that have gathered to paint the ocean together in Depoe Bay

A beautiful Hydrandgea along the way
(did I spell that right?)

4 inches of water can lift a 5 ton log

Everything turned gray and dreary so I played with the color here

Comments:
Hi bridgesitter, I've been really busy irrigating. Just dropped by to say hi and to comment that I hope those artists have a 'lot' of paint. Also, if they brought water based paints, it won't work. (water based won't stick to water)

Cliff, did you say you've been really busy irritating?

*chuckling at cliff*

This place is full of such wild beauty that I feel jealous of the artists, and of you! :0)

Thanks for sharing the photos.

Aravis it is full of wild beauty, and lots of other wonderful things. I'm not complaining but I'm more of a prairie sort of woman. The flatlands, skies that go on forever, really good and hot weather. Really cold and snowy weather. Yes, can you tell I miss Minnesota for just these reasons? North Dakota is very pretty too if you can deal with the state tree being a telephone pole and road construction being a season of the year. But the reason Oregon is so wild and green and beautiful is because it rains so much of the time. I have webbed feet!!!! ;-) I think we've had maybe a week of real nice weather here. Maybe more, but my brain is too soggy to remember!

My parents used to live in Yachats and I've been up and down that coast. Stunning in it's beauty! I love all the wierd names with the odd dips, rocks, swirly pools and such.

I do hate the busloads of tourists that jump off in front of you and snap away until you think your head will explode though!

Idgie, wow, I've never known anyone wealthy enough to own their own yachat.

When I did valet parking at the casino a few years back I sure had my fill of that and deisel exhuast. Yes tourist season is truly upon us here and I've gone back into hiding. The month of June both two of my daughers and my husband have been involved in car accidents, all the other parties fault, and all tourists. They are doing fine but all cars were totaled. I hate insurance companies now too.
