  Falling feather

Falling Feather

I just happened to be out on the deck when I turned the corner and I saw this feather floating down, I put my hand out and it just fell to rest on the palm of my hand. What kind of bird do you think lost this feather?

Comments:
I'd go with a very harrassed bird! That feather looks like it's been through rough times!

I don't know, but this photo is really beautiful Bridge!

What I thought was cool was that it was just softly falling from the sky and more or less fell into my hand.
I like the downy part of the feather too.

We have hawks and eagles that fly over frequently and I just hoped that someone knew what kind of bird it was. Maybe gar is right on, maybe it's a balding eagle!

Ugh! bad pun. *G*

Aravis I'm bad at telling jokes and worse at puns! 8-)

I don't know, but don't you just love feathers? I love to have a writing-pen-feather one day with a bottle of ink and just write and write away ... maybe I should write a theory on the feather with the feather, huh?
