  Apathy
  1. Lack of interest or concern, especially regarding matters of general importance or appeal; indifference.
  2. Lack of emotion or feeling; impassiveness.

[Latin apatha, from Greek apatheia, from apaths, without feeling : a-, without; see a-1 + pathos, feeling; see kwent(h)- in Indo-European Roots.]

There's an epidemic going on. I am vaccinated against this.
Comments:
Apathy is truly terrible, because one day something will finally stir you awake and you'll look back and wonder what you did with your time, wonder how you could have let something so important slip away.

I'm glad you're immunized, but remember to get your booster shot. *G*
